This morning, His Haven served as a host location for Fassett Elementary School during their fire drill, and as Executive Director I wanted to recognize what I witnessed.
It was impressive to see the Sheriff, Vice Principal, teachers and other staff working together to keep everything organized and the children safe. Everyone knew what they were doing, and it showed.
I stood at the front door watching it all unfold, and the best part was all the little smiles and waves I received from the children along the way.
Sometimes it's the little things that leave the biggest impression. Well done, Fassett Elementary. Your dedication didn't go unnoticed.
