We were blessed this week by students from Notre Dame High School who showed up in a big way.
A group of young men helped transport composted leaves, grass and sticks to support the work happening around our spaces. It wasn't glamorous work, but it mattered, and they did it with great attitudes, taking time out of their school day to lend a hand.
That afternoon, a team of young women from the school donated and displayed over 50 prom dresses at our His Haven fundraiser store, creating an opportunity for young women in our community to find something special without the added financial burden. They didn't just deliver the dresses. They set them up, priced them, and created a window display that looks absolutely beautiful.
This is what it looks like when the next generation leads with generosity, humility and heart. We're grateful for each of you.
